How much does an architect or interior designer cost in Thailand? Our design fee
The fee is based on the area we design, at the same rate for architecture, interior design and renovation: THB 150,000 for the first 100 m², THB 1,000/m² for the next 100 m², and THB 500/m² beyond 200 m². Projects under 100 m² are THB 1,500/m², from a minimum of 50 m². When we design both the building and its interior, the interior is a flat 30% of the architecture fee. This covers all of our architectural services, from design and construction drawings to the contractor tender and site consultancy until the work is finished. The same rate applies to architecture (houses and buildings), interior design (homes, condominiums, shops and offices) and renovation.
Architecture and interior together
When we design both the building and its interior, the interior design is a flat 30% of the architecture fee instead of being charged by area again. A 200 m² house, for example, is THB 250,000 for the architecture plus THB 75,000 for the interior, THB 325,000 in total (excl. 7% VAT).

The larger the area, the lower the average rate, because the core thinking behind a building — the plan, the sun, the wind, the design language — does not grow with its size.
What the fee includes
- Design development: the brief, a site visit, a sunlight simulation of the actual site, the plan, and 3D and VR views so you can see it before you decide.
- Construction drawings: a complete set of architectural drawings, material specifications, and the positions of building services such as lighting, sockets, sanitary fittings and air-conditioning.
- Contractor tender: contractors price the same set of drawings; we compare the bids and help you choose.
- Consultancy throughout construction: regular site visits, answering the contractor’s questions, helping choose materials, and following the job until it is finished so it matches the design.
What is not included
Engineering calculations, such as structural and building-services calculations, which must be done and certified by engineers. Our architectural drawings show where the services go, but the engineering calculations are separate.
