About the project
A house inspired by Japanese houses. Long eaves keep off the sun and the rain, and white walls are paired with timber frames and battens.
At the heart of the house is a court with a pond, surrounded by timber walkways and glass walls. Every room looks onto water and trees, and the wind passing over the water helps cool the house.
