Blur Boundary House

About the project

The name comes from the idea of a “blurred boundary”. White breeze blocks serve as both the fence and the skin of the building: people outside can’t see in, but light and wind pass through. A long swimming pool runs parallel to the fence and helps cool the area around the house.

Inside, the house is white throughout. The patterns of light cast by the block walls move across the floors and walls all day. The living room opens onto the stair and looks out to the pool and garden.
